Update 7/4/2017

Still in an elected position as President of the Board over a Community Services District in Del Norte County; FEMA Director of Record in the middle of a large, 6-year public safety project to stabilize a mountain that is threatening to collapse on the Township of Hiouchi just across the Smith River from Joe and Diane Falcone; a FEMA Director assigned to prepare a Local Hazard Mitigation Plan that (for the first time in California by a governing agency) will articulate the catastrophic effects of the much publicized "Cascadia Event" for Northwestern California; and Chairman of the Del Norte Water Resources Network.  Also still trying to find time in each week to fly fish for steelhead with Falcone, Fred Nooteboom, Dave Thompson, Jim Carter, and/or Leroy Ward and Dave Buck.  Not many casts left at this age, and we don't want to miss opportunities to fish together.

Craig is a retired Air Force colonel, fighter pilot with three combat tours, counter-terrorism operator, unit commander, and Pentagon war-planning strategist.  He was appointed by President Reagan in 1984 to be the Military Assistant at the U.S. Department of State under Secretary George Schultz, and was a Presidentially appointed diplomat to the Republic of Egypt between 1987 and 1989. He was the deputy city manager of North Las Vegas between 1993 and 1996, an international attorney since 1990 who is licensed to practice at the Hague, a corporate CEO in the private sector between 1999 and 2005, the appointed administrator of a California joint powers authority between 2001 and 2005, and has been serving as an elected official in Del Norte County since 2005.  There is no rest for the weary.

Craig has been married to Sharon for 39 years, and has three children and four grandchildren.  Joe and Diane Falcone live across the Smith River from the Bradfords, where all enjoy living among the Redwoods and fly-fishing together for steelhead, salmon, and trout.  Every winter the Bradfords spend time at their second home in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.  They mostly hang out with Leroy and Karen Ward, Dave and Linda Buck, Hal and Donna Evans, and Tony and Barbara Fiorentino.  Lots of spills continue to be experienced by this crowd of aging friends, but none we want to admit.

We look forward to the Campbell High School reunion and pass our appreciation to those who will work their fingers to the bone organizing it.
