Carol (Sabbatini) Eichman

I think I'm the same girl I was in high school except now older and wiser. I married my husband shortly before my 21 birthday. We lived in Campbell until 1973 when we moved to Amador County in the Sierra Foothills. We have raised two children, built a house, planted an olive orchard--that actually produces olive oil and are generally enjoying our lives. I still have my electrolysis business, doing this to be home with the kids while they were growing up.

I've calmed down a little from my younger years, but I've always have something going on. More backpacking trips then I can count. I've run and played tennis for years and now try to do lap swimming a couple days a week and enjoy my morning walks. Did my first triathlon last year and have done one open water swim. With these activities I should be skin and bones, alas it is not to be. At home I love to cook and entertain and love working in yard with a great veggie garden that produces much produce that feeds the whole family.

I've done some traveling over the years seeing many interesting places. Europe to ski, Italy to visit relatives, Costa Rica, Alaska, Canada, Hong Kong, Spain, Greece, Mexico, Hawaii.
I'm lucky to have family so close. My son Todd and wife Lara are a few miles away and I have three wonderful grandchildren, Kai, Sudi and River. My daughter Heather moved to Marin last year after working in England, so it's nice to have her back. My mom is still with us and just celebrated her 90th.

Thinking back on my life, my biggest regrets are a few unfortunate hairdos and wardrobe choices.  I have a blessed life and have been lucky to still have my health.
